A Prayer for My Whole Family

I have a very close knit family. We have strong bonds of blood and faith. We are all looking to our Heavenly Father to sustain us.

Our dear Mom is taking a few steps closer to seeing Jesus' face. We cry, hurt, grieve, wonder and may even question, but we cannot turn our backs on our Savior. We will see our precious Mother again.

I am seeking to meditate on these verses today.

Isaiah 40:28-31

28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Sis - I love that verse in Isaiah. Thank you for this encouragement today. I'm headed over soon to be with Mom and look forward to us being together soon.

You are all in our prayers. It was not long ago that we went through this with both my dear Dad and then dear Mom. Hang on to God's promises, dear one. We pray for your peace and comfort.
