Last Saturday, we celebrated my sister in law's 40th birthday surprise fashion. My brother has been planning an old fashioned, family-style picnic/hoe-down. He celebrated his 40th birthday as well as their 20th anniversary this year. He hired the Dade City Foothills Bluegrass Band. There was a three legged race, a hay ride, potato sack game, apple bobbing as well as lots of southern, down home food. My sister in law was extremely surprised. I think this is the first surprise party I have been to that had 100 or so guests where the secret didn't escape.
