Whether I feel like it or not, the truth remains.
My Shepherd makes all things new.
My Savior restores broken things and people.
Ashes are ugly and remind us of pain. God creates beauty from those scars.
Freedom is certainly found in no other.

Good morning dear friend - I just listened to this song before I checked your blog and thought of Hoss. There's such truth and hope in the words in this song - a great reminder of God's Word, God's Truth, no matter how things may look right now. I'm holding on to these words for us all. How I praise Him for redeeming the past, for His hope that's ever-lasting, for giving beauty for ashes, and for making all things new!

Girls (S & P), I told Brett today how his music has ministered to you. I know it is an encouragement to HIM that, in the midst of dark days, his gift from God has been given to the body of Christ for His glory. I love you both and am praying for both your sons now.
