Book Review

Biographies are probably my favorite types of books to read. I especially love reading how God has changed a life.

Brenda Warner has written her memoir, One Call Away. Most of us know who she is by her husband's "work" playing football, but her story is much greater than that.

Her life began in a average American family. She made a commitment as a young child to the Lord, but walked away for a time. This story is one of redemption and the amazing change God can make in a life. Her first marriage is one of abuse and pain. Her first baby ends up blind due to the life she is living. Trial after trial meet her and the Lord helps her through. Kurt comes into her life after her second child is born. He is an unbeliever at the time, but soon comes to know Jesus. His life is radically changed.

Whatever the trials you, as the reader, have gone through, this story is one you will relate to. You will find yourself laughing, crying and wondering. There are so many facets to her life journey. This is a story of perseverance and faith. Those who know the Lord Jesus have peace in the same way. There is pain in life, but peace and contentment through our Savior.

As part of the Booksneeze blogging network, I received a free copy of this book.
